about
'ur so cute' is a bubbly love-song about lifelong friendships and how they change from childhood to adulthood. I wrote the song over lockdown in London, exploring an all new, ultra-cute pop sound. I was OVER writing about heartbreak and wanted some light relief, to focus on the positives. What better way to achieve that than to write about how cute your best friend is?
lyrics
Where d’you wanna go?
Shall we get drunk?
Said I would go home
On the next bus
But I haven’t seen you
In six months
And you’re so cute
And I wanna let you know
You’re so cute
And I wanna make to most of
Time with you
That we never get enough of
No one knew
Fifteen years could fly right past us
But you’re so cute
And I think that you should know that
When we were at school, yeah
Used you like a skill share
We were so uncool, yeah
Now we’ve changed
Used to wear the same clothes
Different coloured jeans, though
I’m less of a keano
Nowadays
First to get a tattoo
And a salary, too
Wish I could have told you
Yesterday
How are we so different,
But we go through the same sh-?
Never could have called it
Anyway…
You’re so cute
And I wanna make to most of
Time with you
That we never get enough of
No one knew
Fifteen years could fly right past us
But you’re so cute
And I think that you should know that
You’re so cute
And I wanna make to most of
Time with you
That we never get enough of
No one knew
Fifteen years could fly right past us
But you’re so cute
And I think that you should know that
